After ten years in Germany, Tamim, a hopeful, romantic engineer from Syria, finally finds the love of his life in the quick-witted Laura. In cheerful and free-spirited Freiburg, Tamim and Laura want the same thing - but in different ways. Tamim wants to get married and have children, Laura wants intimacy and independence. In a highly emotional and hilarious love mess, Laura and Tamim have to overcome relationship conflicts, structural discrimination and Laura's attractive ex-boyfriend.
