The train rolls on: COMPARTMENT NO. 6 by Juho Kuosmanen is now also in the running as this year’s Finnish entry for the Academy Award. Whether the film makes it to the award ceremony in Los Angeles, however, will first be decided by a placement on the shortlist of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
Just last week, the film was also nominated by the European Film Academy for the European Film Award. So the journey continues!
